I AM BLACK HISTORY, EVERYDAY

Though the shortest in days, February is THE DOPEST month of the year for several reasons:

1. We can finally see Springtime in distance

2. It's my birthday month and INFAMOUS Aquarius season

3. The world pauses to pay homage to Black people, the pioneers of this country.

I want to dedicate February honoring the trailblazers and innovators that paved the way for the opportunities that many of us take for granted every day.

I want to dedicate February taking time to educate individuals about the beauty in Black and African American culture and reassuring my brothers and sisters that we do not have to perpetuate hate inwards because of our own ignorance or insecurities.

I want to dedicate February towards encouraging families to support LGBTQ youth and learn ways to provide safer and healthier environments for these young geniuses to flourish. Stop abusing our children. Stop telling them they will never amount to anything.

I want to dedicate February proclaiming that I AM BLACK HISTORY and THIS IS MY MONTH. Join me in our liberation!
